What is Bentuangie Kratom?

It is pretty much similar to any other powdered Mitrgayna Speciosa product with the exception that the is a fermentation phase included in the project. The key difference in producing Bentuangie is that before the drying process, the leaves are left to ferment for a certain amount of time. After the desired fermentation period, the processing is pretty much identical as with most of the other common strains.

How is Bentuangie Kratom made?

Typically the process of harvesting kratom is done in the following key phases:

  1. First, the leaves are harvested from a certain location based on the strain color and other properties making them unique.
  2. The second phase is to dry the leaves to allow further processing when the leaf material can be separated from the vein.
  3. Once the leaves are dried, the leaf material is separated from the fibrous central and most of the lateral veins by crumbling it resulting in a crushed bulk leaf.
  4. This bulk crushed leaf can then be used to further be processed to powder by milling or used as such for brewing tea like concoctions, etc.

What happens to Bentuangie in the fermentation process?

The end results of the fermentation depend a lot on the duration and the method. Some methods keep the leaf-material in the fermentation for a long time which causes the leaves to turn strong reddish-brownish color. The method we prefer in GoPure Bentuangie Kratom processing is less intrusive and preserves the color (chlorophyll) and other alkaloids better than a very heavy fermentation.

Although the process does not involve any roasting etc, with heavier fermentation the end result can have the flavor and odor taken to something that resembles chocolate or coffee. This is the reason why some vendors are selling Chocolate Bentuangie.

What strain is Bentuangie?

Most of the strains can be fermented, but most of it made from Red Vein Kratom. The fermentation appears to enhance the effects of the red strains and kind of "take the edge" out making the basic red strain affects more broad and mellow. Due to the process slightly altering the alkaloid mix in the product, the potency might suffer a bit, but this can be compensated easily by slightly increasing the dosage.

Bentuangie vs. Red Maeng Da

As already stated before, the difference between Red Maengda versus Bentuangie is mostly the fermentation process. Red Maeng Da is a more potent strain compared to more mellow and "rounded" fermented kratom.

Red Bentuangie vs. Red Bali

Red Bali is close to this fermented product, and in fact, Red Bali Kratom is used as a base strain for a lot of fermented Bentuangie. Again, the effect of the fermentation process just breaks up some of the natural compounds compared to the straight dry-devein-mill to powder process.

Why is Bentuangie a good strain?

Although some people prefer more heavily potent strains at first, they tend to seek a more broad variety of strains as they get more experienced. It is also a good and popular behavior to rotate strains instead of using only one strain. Because all strains have slightly different alkaloid content, rotating different strains can help users with building up tolerance since the mix is changed periodically. Otherwise, one might see tolerance to build up and need higher dosages.

Bentuangie Kratom Effects

Bentuangie kratom is very praised for its long-lasting effects. It is also excellent to mix with other strains to prolong their effects. In traditional use, it is known to be one of the strongest strain for pain relief, mildly sedative but very relaxing thus being used as a "nighttime strain". In natural healing, this strain is also used for its anxiety-relieving properties.
