From the Jungle to You

The local farmers still use the same traditional harvesting and processing methods they have been using for centuries. While picking the leaves by hand they check the right color and maturity for the desired batch. After cleaning the biomass, it is carefully dried from all moisture. Then the stems and leaf veins come off easily from the dehydrated leaves. The remaining plant material is then crushed to a very fine powder easy to store and use. Packed in airtight pouches it stays nice and fresh while transported to our neck of the woods.
